Taking “Holmes of Kyoto” anime to South East Asia

ABC HORIZON has secured the distribution rights for “Holmes of Kyoto(京都寺町三条のホームズ)“, based on a popular novel series from DeNA, Japan, for South East Asia territories. This anime program made its debut at Mipcom in Cannes and TIFFCOM in Tokyo this October. Sales effort is at full steam to drive the distribution of this content on multiple platforms for key markets in Asia.

About Holmes of Kyoto (12 episodes x approximately 30min )

Set in a popular antique street in Kyoto, Japan, Holmes, a young man whose family runs an antique shop in Kyoto, has the unique ability to read people and instantly distinguish genuine and high value antiques. When a local high school student, Aoi Maki starts working alongside Holmes, together they begin to unravel the many mysteries surrounding the antiques brought to the shop.
